Farastein Mokwenye is an entrepreneur, engineer, freelance writer, poet and the author of the historical romance fiction novel "Tales of Jideofor." The story follows the life of Jideofor during the transatlantic slave trade era, from Illah in Western Igbo lands down to Jamaica, through a rich tale of dreams, death, destiny and the afterlife. The full length novel was expanded from his short story of the same name that had won runner-up at the Goge Africa 20th Anniversary Writing Competition in 2020.
